Elena, a photographer, is trapped in a loveless marriage with a homophobic pastor. When she meets the lesbian writer Peyton, with whom she will collaborate on a photography project, it leads to a thrilling extramarital adventure. Despite the intensity of their attraction, Peyton, still in the process of coming to terms with her previous relationship, is wary and doesn’t want to get bogged down in an affair with a married heterosexual woman.
